The e-learning system offered by Multimedia Communication Sp. z o.o. operates on the basis of client-server architecture with the use of the Internet. All management functions concerning information in the system, as well as operation of the system by course participants take place with use of a standard web browser.

The system enables:

1. Management of training units (TRAININGS, COACHING, TESTS),

2. Creation of training, coaching and testing units,

3. Management of course participants and control of the training process.

Due to implemented goals, educational units in the system are divided into:

TRAININGS – containing information in the form of subsequently presented screens. They are divided into training blocks e.g. introduction physical characteristics, executive guidelines. Every screen may contain: were (site based on html, statically prepared in the training creation editor containing text and graphics) or a graphic file (*.jpg in RGB model, *.gif) or Adobe Flash animation (*. swf, it should be taken into consideration that playing Adobe Flash files on some mobile devices is not possible) or digital video file (*.FLV, *.MPG4). Navigation in a given training is conducted with accuracy down to a slide or a training block. The system records whether a given course participant has launched the training. After prior determination of the data source, the content of selected trainings may be created automatically.

COACHING-EXERCISES – these are usually specially prepared interactive multimedia applications. Operating them most often requires dragging elements with the mouse to proper fields or entering text-numeric data in marked fields. These elements are intended to support the course participant in verifying knowledge obtained in trainings.

TESTS – knowledge of course participants is checked using tests. In system, choice tests with one or more of correct answers are applied. For each test, the number of questions asked to the course participant can be smaller or equal to the number of questions created by the administrator. Questions are presented to the course participant at random. As part of a given test, the administrator may determine the maximum time for solving the test. Normally, the test may be solved only once, unless administrator assigns it to the course participant once more. Every test question may be illustrated by a graphic file, an animation or a video (*.FLV, * MPG4).
